350 is a newer aeroplane compared to 777 or even 787... obviously a lot more new technology and above everything extremely fuel efficient... all the neo options and then a350 are bumper hits for airbus... next 777x vastundi and its believed to be very fuel efficient too ... so we will know more in the next 2 yrs or so

Thanks @chittimallu_14

think about it... ipudu neo option unte dont you think airlines will pick a330 neo over 777s? I think 350 and 330 neo could push 777 from its top place.. atleast until 777x is ready

Yeah emirates odu solid jhatka ichadu for boeing by jumping the airbus wagon

A330 supposedly scrap chese vallu. But NEO and XWB options tho reinvent chesi, they scrapped 340 and put the 330 in the game again.

Marketing lo kuda Airbus is now a behemoth. Something Boeing enjoyed for decades. America Lo production facility, A220 tho new segment and market leader, A380 valla vachina gap ni baaga utilize chesukunaru. Changing dynamics ki tagattu Airbus is changing themselves where as Boeing used to change the dynamics with their products..

Interesting game nadustundi civil aviation sector lo, especially airline leasing services and manufacturers ki...

why scrap 330? I thought it was extremely popular and hit among the airlines? I dont follow the business side of aviation so I have no clue.. im just an aircraft enthusiast

Interesting to see how the duopoly of boeing and airbus changes with this A220 aircraft, this was a shot out of the park from Airbus who got this aircraft program for nothing.

Airbus did not even spent a buck and got an entire segment of a new modern aircraft manufacturing for FREE. A220 does not have a competitor. Actually they do in the form of Embraer but it’s quite limited and when Airbus started making A220 in USA, It’s the best bet and comes cheap then embraer.

US has as many as 1500-2000 aircrafts to be replaced with A220 in the next 10 years and for now, there is only one major player. All the less than 100 seater aircrafts, single aisle 2+1 configured cabin aircrafts used to commute between smaller cities and less than two hour distances, This A220 is a blessing in disguise. Having control on an entire segment of popular aircraft can be so much profitable for Airbus...If not on the scale of what 737,747 did for Boeing back in the 70’s and 80’s But definetely a major space in American skies.

Airbus actually burned their hands with A380 and invested lot of money hoping this could be the game changer for them and they thought A330 and A340 may not be of much important to them as they were competing with market leader 777. But after the 2008 recession, the aviation business has completely transformed in such a way that airlines were finding tough to find enough number of passengers to be filled in a A380 and with risings costs and fuel efficiency mattered more, then they decided to scrap A340 and introduced the A330 NEO and XWB variants.

Things have completely changed now and A350, A330 are in huge demand than their rivals now. NEO series have completely changed the specifics and set a new standard and other end, Boeing is struggling with their MAX mess and 777x’s which is already delayed and suddenly 777x’s find competition in its own space.
Only savior is Dreamliner with enough order book to survive for a decade.

ya ee story thelusu about 380 and also how 2008 affected the whole airline industry... but didnt quite understand the logic behind the thought of scrapping 330... anyways I think 350 and 330 neo will be very good for airbus and dont think boeing has a chance unless 777x clicks big time... motham antha emirates odi chethilo unnattu undi, whoever they chose will profit big time 777x vs 350, 330 neo lo
