తెలగాణ కాంగ్రెస్ కమిటీ అద్యక్షుడుగా భువనగిరి లోక్ సభ సభ్యుడు కోమటిరెడ్డి వెంకటరెడ్డిని నియమించవచ్చని వార్తలు సూచిస్తున్నాయి. డిల్లీలో ఆయన పార్టీ అదినేత్రి సోనియాగాందీని కలిశారని, ఆమె కోమటిరెడ్డిని పిసిసి అద్యక్షుడుగా నియమించాలన్న అబిప్రాయానికి వచ్చారని అంటున్నారు. తెలంగాణలో మరికొందరు నేతలు కూడా ఈ పదవిని ఆశిస్తున్నారు.మల్కాజిగిరి ఎమ్.పి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి, ఎమ్మెల్యేలు మల్లుభట్టి విక్రమార్క, శ్రీధర్ బాబు,సీనియర్ నేతలు జానారెడ్డి, వి.హనుమంతరావు వంటివారు కూడా క్యూలో ఉన్నప్పటికీ పార్టీ అదిష్టానం కోమటిరెడ్డివైపు మొగ్గుచూపవచ్చని అంటున్నారు.ప్రస్తుత పిసిసి అద్యక్షుడు ఉత్తం కుమార్ రెడ్డి పదవికి రాజీనామా చేసిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే.వారం , పది రోజులలో వెంకటరెడ్డి పిసిసి అద్యక్షుడు కావచ్చు.
