Correct ye. NYC lo 4K to hand vachche uncles ni choosa. How will that guy survive? Poor locality lo with 2000 model car, living with 4 others and buying low quality frozen food to survive. Half the health problems come from low quality life style. Only H1Bs are taking this risk. Disgusting if you ask me.

Original intent of the H1B program was to bring in the creamy layer as this country’s workforce. Later on it got diluted during various administrations and now they are stuck with average/below average talent. The thinking has always been that in demand people would command higher wages. After all why would someone talented/belonging to the creamy layer not want higher wages? According to them, it would not represent a deviation from their original intentions and are therefore right in this regard.
