India and China in standoff in Ladakh following recent border skirmishes

Multiple media reports have emerged indicating movement of troops in the Ladakh region, where the two countries share a border. Satellite images released by NDTV showed construction activities at a high altitude Chinese airbase near the site of recent skirmishes between both nations. The Australian Strategic Policy Institute had also released satellite images of the situation unfolding around the Line of Actual Control as tensions escalated following road construction in the area.
