perugu_vada Posted May 28, 2020 Report Posted May 28, 2020 Drugstore giant CVS is on track to drastically increase its coronavirus testing capacity in California, jumping from 14 testing sites to more than 100 this week. The pharmacy, which committed last month to opening 1,000 testing locations in the U.S. by the end of May, announced Thursday it will open 91 California sites on Friday. CVS aims to process 1.5 million tests per week nationwide at no out-of-pocket cost to patients. Skip Anyone who wants to get tested can register to do so beginning Friday through the pharmacy’s MinuteClinic portal on the CVS website. You do not need a doctor’s note but you must meet the CDC’s guidelines for seeking testing, which you can read here. Quote
