Ysr thought he needed Congress image so he gave all support and help for sonia and preferred to remain under her leadership. But jagan belief is central Congress has nothing to do with Congress wins at state level ( which he was kind of correct by winning high number of seats in 2014 and 2019 too). So he differed with her. He is not kind of person who prefers to work under someone. Especially Congress type culture. Their personalities won't match. Quote

I think ekkado egoes clashed and it got personal. Sonia gandhi made his mother and wife wait at her place. Jagan definitely wanted CM seat but the question is why didn't Sonia yield.
