Megastar Chiranjeevi made his best efforts to anchor the film industry during this crisis time. He initiated Corona Crisis Charity fund and also met KCR along with some other Tollywood bigwigs to seek permission for resuming film shoots. However, this led to controversy when Balakrishna made nasty allegations against Chiranjeevi and others. Balakrishna was upset for not calling him for an all-important meeting related to Telugu Cinema industry and alleged that the people who met Telangana CM had interests in gaining real estate benefits. Chiranjeevi is reportedly hurt by these allegations and stopped interacting with producers and other celebs regarding the current crisis. He is also not interested to resume the shooting of Acharya until September as the coronavirus cases are on the rise in Telugu states. While all others were not bothered much about the shutdown of the industry, Chiranjeevi came forward to help it overcome the crisis. But he is not active anymore Quote
