aws C F T help

[ForEverJava]

Any aws CFT experts here..i have written lamda function to do a task like move pdf files from one s3 bucket to other s3 bucket ..also transition s3 files from standard storage to glacier on target bucket..its all working fine.. lamda uses a  generic role created by devops team that can do read write delte s3 bucket objects..

Now as per architect to move solution to higher environments I need to write cft as prod environment everything has to go through CFT.

 

I don't have expertise in writing CFT though I have used few CFT generating tools its not very much helpful.. 

 

Also CFT need to capture SNS notifications we have setup also aws event bridge cron job setup we have got working in dev environment.

try using ansible or terraform for it . didnot feel cft is easy to learn.

if ur using nodejs, i would reccomend using serverless framework....bindaas untadi..and also it takes care of IAM permissions also..

CF emundi drag an drop ega. get some template in github and modify it.

CF kastam ante terraform bongu kooda raadu. UI em undadu.

undi but, it doesnt work out so smooth..

recent ga release chesadu a option...create stack with existing resources ani.

functions enni kavali..

iam permissions deniki kavali...like S3 and s3 ki em permissions put obj, del obj etc.c.

sns topic deniki subscribe avvali...

region, and also if  Lambda concurrency, memory, timeout , handler details etc..

Lamda nene rasa python 3.7 lo chala simple ga ipoindi 5 or 6 lines..lamda also working super as server less architecture.. also aas event brdige setup for cron job expression also working fine..just hate this arcgitects making all this in cloud formation template to move to prod..

 

Requirement emi levu bhavva..simple requirement. May be we will store lamda function code in s3 bucket ..

Generic IAM role for lamda to access s3 for read/write/delete is crested by security team..we just have to use thet role in CFT.
