in that case you need to have a valid current i94 

I94 expired then? approved I797 can be used if you recently got a H1 extension

with current H1 Extension in progress

how to have i9 working in current job? not new job or changing employer but in current job only working long before extension filed

ade kada same job same employer but employer saying i-94 validity is coming to end and saying i-9 fill cheyyali ani

 

what might have triggered and that too at this last minute and can this be managed or employer fooling around

In my situation .. i sent them my h1 extension receipt and my hr team updated i9 validity by 6 months .this is with same employer extension
