ICMR-NIN Sero Prevalence Survey results out! COVID19 not prevalent in Telangana

Community-based Sero-surveillance Undertaken in Telangana by ICMR and NIN along 12 other states in India to Monitor Covid-19 Transmission. The results came out good and the community transmission is not as prevalent as in other metros/states. In Telanagna 19 seemed to have antibodies out of 1750 samples collected at random places.

 

 

 

 

in comparison,  other cities tested very high.

More over Hyd being a metro, in bound passengers from other cities attribute to new cases/spread. The cases will go further high. there is no denial in that but comparing Hyd to Mumbai, Delhi at this point is little too much

Whatever it is, hope the cases count comes down, all infected recover soon, no fatalities to hear, and people don't get in a pathetic situation and falling pray to private hospitals 🙏

idi nenu tayaru chesi iyyaledura ayya. the chronology of tweet that I copied was posted incorrectly in message(telangana results embedded), what ICMR disputed is with the indianexpress report of 15-30% spread(posted below). The results regarding telangana came today evening from Director of Public Health, Govt of Telangana(this will be covered in local dailies tomorrow)
