Why depression happens ?

IMO it happens in certain steps

1. Someone/some thing threatens your emotional insecurities

2. then hold to those insecurity for too long

3. No matter what happens, no one comes forward to let it go/ resolve the issue

4. Then some thing really bad happens that damages, and ultimately the only decision people feel is suicide

 

Going out and meeting people generally doesn't resolve the root cause but helps in going through bad phases...

I think in Sushant's case, his emotions are tied to mother who was dead.. then he tried to find comfort in film industry by finding friends.

But since industry is a business game, he could never find friends aka emotional vent... no wonder he did movie with title, Chicchore

Then his close friends like manager also committed suicide.. I think this is tipping point for loneliness

His mother died in 2002..18 years taruvatha suicide for mother is not a right thing..we understand everyone love their parents..there might be some other reasons mainly financial..4.5 lakh rent per month..movies peddaga levu..covid is there..

Right on point, bro! Though he was successful, he has been lonely since his mom passed away. He tried to find solace in dating new girls thinking that he would meet someone like his mom. I read an article today by his stylist she quoted " Sushant was genuine, simple and emotional and talks about spirituality. Also, he invited her to his home (aaja mere ghar ko) for a movie when she told him that she had not watched the movie dhoni. This one line says he was way too lonely even before he took treatment for depression. His failed relationships with many ladies also contributed to the tragedy. It's always a gift if the mother lives at least the kids are till 30-35 as they get mentally stronger, but if the parents die when the kids are in teenage it is very hard and that emptiness will be there forever with some exceptions.

yaa too much pressure from all angles ...

He got enough stardom with MS Dhoni but no support from bollywood in terms of making him a real star with good people following... it will be difficult to maintain everything on his own. Should have got someone holding his back
