How much do you think is enough to retire?

To all GC and USC uncles, how much do you think is enough to retire and whats your target 401k? 

I heard that once you go past retirement, they wont cover much of your medical conditions in your insurance and those costs will eat up your 401k.

So are you targeting 2 million? Or you wanna rely on any passive income sources?

750k enough to retire at 40, the rule of thumb is spending 4% per year assuming a 7% return on investment.

2 million minimum with your house paid off and kids college done.  This money will be just enough. 

If you want luxury and you want to travel the minimum 4 million.

India depends on the  life style you want it can be 2 c or 20c or 100c.. there is no limit..
