what you have in showbiz is equal to what you have with patents in the services market. almost zero marginal cost, and 100% profit  because those who produce it control where it can be exhibited, and create an artificial scarcity that increases the price of admission. 90% of the audience would gladly watch a movie on their mobile phones.

what dummy says about producers (trying to make as much money), consumers and especially middlemen (even pirates) should aslo force producers to start releasing their movies outside of theatres. and tht includes in tamilrockers too.

I think bollywood, and every other wood gets away with a lot of bullshit because the other side doesn't care enough. a person can have right to what he created... but in movies case, just like in software, they claim ownership to all copies of it in all medium. lol.

imagine IT services market populated only by windows and unix server. IT would have remained in the cave era. same thing needs to happen with movies. 

Under the current movie industry, it is not easy to expect newcomers to make much of an impact
