Professional Pilot Training Program - Florida F1 Visa

Professional Pilot Program (FAA approved and accredited F1 visa program, current tuition $83,995, this is not paid up front but monthly as you attend) and is the required training for the US (Private, Instrument, Commercial Single, Commercial Multi and Certified Flight Instructor). The current cost for the 15 months of Professional Pilot Program (min 230 flight hours) will range from $100,000 to 115,000US. That range based on how you choose to live and what you spend money on outside the school, the range would cover the following costs: tuition, ground school, tutoring, testing, check rides, fees, learning materials, tablet, uniforms, fuel, security clearance/badging for the airport, food, housing and transportation. While here, you can take advantage of free backseat flights and free tutoring. This program would also allow you to stay on in the US (12 months) as a paid Flight Instructor for additional flight hours. If you stay on as a paid CFI it would allow you to go from the 230 flight hours you should have, up to 1000. In this program, you may have the opportunity to fly the following aircraft: Cessna172, Cirrus SR20, Piper Archer and Piper Seminole.

It's a requirement to be an astronaut at NASA, you need to have pilot training and few hundred hours of airtime, along with a PhD in engineering ofcourse.
