hunkyfunky Posted June 27, 2020 Report Posted June 27, 2020 Every one is talking about about OTT and debating whether theatres can survive of not. I think for a movie , a combination of these 3 is viable option even after theatres are open. Go for Pre pay , say 100 to 400 Rs ( even more for bigger movies) with a stipulation that movie will release only after minimum number of tickets are sold. Viewing window can be 24 hours once you start. OTT can release after 2/3 weeks , but to protect the Pay per view, they can opt to release only after certain no.of pay per views. Theatres, when open can have a simultaneous release with pay per view - probably with much higher ticket prices: those who want to experience theater can opt to go. Quote
