We sent my MiL in may end 

Call embassy few times, they don pick up once, there is a form in Indian embassy which you need fill and submit 

 

Once you are picked in lottery, the will call you to pay with in one day and fax or email some papers about covid precautions

In India you can decide on where to live for qurantine 

7 days in either 5 star or 2 star 

We choose Novatel 

 

Food sucks and extra food is minimum 2000 per day

Thanks, but I think process changed since June for phase 3. I registered with indian embassy on june 13th.. only got email saying you are registered nothing more

Embassy wont reply back. Check embassy websites depending on ur jurisdiction (Houston, Chicago, NY and SF). All forms and details should be posted there. Also follow their fb pages. You can either directly book through Air India website or consulate. If booking through consulate, thy will call and confirm the tickets, even though the website says "sold out".

Friends mother went home recently. Their destination is hyd and home is AP, quarantine in VJA.

I just booked Chicago to Delhi. Still not sure what is the process to go from delhi to vijayawada or hyderabad. Direct Chicago to Hyderabad flights not available ani chupistondi

Depending on the officer and the rules/medical conditions at that time.. you may have to quarantine in either Delhi or Hyd or at home.

del hyd or vjwada flight book chesi call air india to merge those two pnr that way you can avoid quarantine in delhi lekapothey 7 days delhi lo quarantine avvali
