Why we moved to Canada after 12 years in USA on H1b visa

In reality life in Canada sucks. Most of them end up coming to US again working on TN visa.. It's cold, the salaries are not good and job competition is really high.. Better go to India peacefully rather than going to Canada... Canada, Australia, even UK the quality of life for IT jobs is no where close to US..

Canada is a good place to live. People are good.

 

Expenses, taxes are high but if you compare with Bay Area or a New York, not much

Bay Area, New York lo expenses atlane untay salaries atlane untay. Canada lo expenses full untay but salaries are no way close to US.

Except for 3 to 4 states that border Canada, winter in US is no way comparable to Canada. Most of the South, Florida, Texas and California are warm compared to Canada. Even NYC has much better temperatures compared to Toronto. Only exceptions are Chicago and Detroit.
