Bengaluru: Rs 67 lakh collected in fines for not wearing masks, violating social distancing normsU

To make people follow social distancingand wearing masks, Bengaluru’s civic body Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike(BBMP) is penalising the violators with the help of marshals.

So far, the BBMP has collected Rs 67.04 lakh as penalty from 31,740 people for not wearing masks, while 1,800 were fined for not maintaining social distancing in the city.

until a week ago.. there were 10 cases in 4km radius around me... i live on outskirts of hyd... now I personally know 65 people who tested positive within the week, and were having symptoms for past 10 days.. still roamed around carelessly.. hope the fines are implemented in hyderabad too.. 

 

i see even the shop keepers never wear masks and are let to keep the shops open... I doubt officials/govt is ever going to wake up... 

ofcourse public need to realize it too.. but some times... govt has to take the whip...

Kachara govt was a failure and is a failure.. They are only good at media manipulation and looting the state.
