కువైత్‌, జూలై 5: ప్రవాసీ కోటా ముసాయిదా బిల్లు రాజ్యాంగబద్ధమేనని కువైత్‌ జాతీయ అసెంబ్లీలోని లీగల్‌, లెజిస్లేటివ్‌ కమిటీ నిర్ణయించింది. సమగ్ర ప్రణాళికను రూపొందించడానికి బిల్లును మరొక కమిటీకి అప్పగించింది. ఈ బిల్లు ప్రకారం.. కువైత్‌ జనాభాలో భారతీయులు 15శాతం మించకూడదు. ప్రస్తుతం ఈ దేశంలో దాదాపు 14లక్షల 50వేల మంది భారతీయులు ఉన్నారు. బిల్లు ఆమోదిస్తే దాదాపు 8లక్షల మందిని బలవంతంగా స్వదేశానికి పంపేస్తారు. 43లక్షల మంది కువైత్‌ జనాభాలో 30లక్షల మంది వలసదారులే ఉండడం గమనార్హం.

Kuwait lo foreign residents more than its own citizens , they want to change the old policy decision of having over dependency on foreign labour  to adapt to the post oil world for national security and stability.

They will keep importing white collar workers but no more blue collar workers like maids , drivers ,etc .

 

This is like kicking out low skill Hispanic immigrants which is already a policy of GOP

Even without this bill, employment in middle East is already ducked up because of oil crisis and future corona effect.

Middle East lo almost anni countries ide follow avutaay.. Their days of living luxury lives on oil money are over. Citizens have to start moving their phat asses and start doing their own work.. Only problem is for all the migrant workers and their families there.. At least half to two thirds will be sent back to India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia etc.. Most of these people are low skilled so it won't be much of a benefit for the home country. In states like Kerala it will be a huge blow to their remittance driven economy and all these returning people will drive the unemployment really high.
