India lo Xiaomi & Real Me kuda manufacturing in India but those are chinese based compnies... Even OnePlus 8 is assembled in India now but that too is Chinese company

Even China doesn't manufacture it. 2/3 companies in Taiwan do it. . Pegatron is the name of one such company. inka quantum computers also I think.

this kind of companies make barebones design, and add whatever functionality is needed by mi, or any other manufacturer on top of it. and then these barebones are shipped for final assembly.

value addition is mostly on the s/w the manufacturer provides, and the marketing budget. 

unless cellphone design and manufacturing becomes a cottage industry in India, don't expect a world class smartphone. gully gully ki s/w company undey laaga, manufacturing units undaale. only then its possible.

Even the manufacturing colossus Foxconn operates through a lot of component providers who are independently owned by it, and operate as separate business. the cellphone manufacturing industry is a maze that is very hard to crack.
