Did anyone apply for free extension till October 15, 2020, especially if anyone are owing taxes.

You can apply extension.. If you owe any taxes, you need to pay interest on it.. So pay estimated taxes.. You can even file after Oct 15th also within three years but a small penalty and interest will be charged..
