Simple what do you understand by idly and rice cake

both are same . but one is windows(idly) and other is unix(rice cake)

windows is easy and has GUI. easy to access but tough for application hosting 

linux is hard but all cloud you use are working on linux/unix or some flavor of it only. so you know its value compared to windows

Bottom line is windows vadili and ppl getting used to it has indirectly made them very very lazy that even a (ls - ltr) UNIX command has become tough for many people (which is like just seeing contents of C drive in windows)
