Although the build quality isn't as good , screen is slightly worse but you are getting 50% more performance  and extra battery life. 

If you want something premium, consider the ThinkPad E or T with ryzen 4500u processor

Dell XPS  also has heating issues , frankly every intel laptops have heating issues under heavy loads .
