I used to date a girl from my project..we were serious about eachother n everything was going great..long conversations,movie dates, exploring places together,making out at different places including office washrooms etc, we were also planning to get married. Then she got an onsite opportunity, she had her concerns but i supported her and she eventually left. Initially it was all ok, we used to talk everyday with occasional video calls. She faced lot of issues onsite during her initial days n I gave all kind of support I could.Suddenly 1 fine morning, she said she wanted to breakup coz she wanted to stay there permanently and wanted to apply for a PR.. This came as a shocker to me as before leaving she had said she ll come back in 1-1.5 years max, we argued and she suggested me to leave Infy and come stay with her there, which was practically impossible🤦‍♂️.. Note this was the 1st time we were arguing otherwise in 1.5 yrs of relationship, we never fought before.Anyways, after this call, she blocked me everywhere.I left her msgs, even mails hoping she would read them n call.. After 15 days,she called me again, then gave me a different story-she said actually her father is not agreeing for our relationship as we r from different caste. Also, said some guy who supposedly her parents wanted her to marry with had hacked her social media accounts and got hold of our private conversations n shared those with her parents which was followed by lot of family drama n her dad asked not to be in touch with me or else they won't eat etc 😐..Then she asked for 3 weeks time and said she ll convince her father and call me with updates, I was happy coz now she had given hope and I had something to hold onto..But then those 3 weeks got converted to 3 months,1 year, she never called me back.. I left her msgs during this time, she never responded..Eventually i realised may be I was played and she was gone, so I moved on.. Now cut to Dec last year, she called me out of nowhere after 1.3 years-I was surprised but then it didn't matter much, but she started giving all sorts of clarification about how her life had turned into hell at onsite with all sorts of physical, mental and professional problems which is why she wasn't able to manage our long distance relationship n had broken up.. I calmly listened to her, she apologised multiple times for everything, I said that's fine and all I ever wanted was a closure which I finally had after so long.. Then she enquired about my love life n when m i getting married. Even I asked her the same, she said she was so busy she hasn't been able to even visit India since last 1 year, so marriage was not on her cards..That call ended on a good note with no hard feelings from my side and she unblocked me everywhere.. But after 1 month, I came to know from a common friend that she was getting married in Jan'2020, this came as a shocker as she mentioned everything during the last call but not this..I didn't believe until I saw her wedding invitation card which was sent by the same friend.. I was like WTF, then I researched little about the groom and turns out he was also from INFY and was in the same country and unit as that of hers.. Then I wondered why did she even call me to give clarifications and apologise, when she had to lie again..Didn't make any sense.. Anyways, another strange thing which I noticed is she hasn't posted a single marriage pic of hers n its been more than 2 months already, that's really strange, coz she used to be active on social media but since we broke up, she hasn't been that active..Even today her fb status says she is single and she keeps posting her old pics but not her marriage pics.. 🙄
