You like the individual stories in the movie and the overall setting. Im okay with them too.

I just think it's not a good movie. It was spoiled by Puri's mediocre writing. The guy's range is limited.

puri's only one point to success is hero's role... his heroes are a trend setter and extremely different from the regular telugu film heroes... like the typical tapori and who the fcuk cares attitude untundi... that was the only reason for his succes... rest all is not that great from him.

neninthe is the only film that doesnt have that type of heroism or heroic character amongst his films

I was reminded of deepa Mehta because I recently watched a movie on a vancouver based punjabi gangster from the 90s that she made. Name - viva boys

She fcuked the movie so bad and totally left out the coolest parts of his story. She changed his character etc. She moulded two interesting characters into one in he movie.

That's what I get.from neninthe. Puri picked someone he wanted to make a movie about ( may be himself) and then botched trying to make that character fit a particular trope of struggling artist in that area. It's not a honest movie. May be that's the best he could do
