Elon Musk offered to 'arrange 24/7 security' for Amber Heard in 2016, texts read in court show

• On Tuesday, The High Court in London was read texts between Elon Musk and Amber Heard in which the Tesla founder offered to "arrange 24/7 security" for Heard after she told him she wanted a restraining order against Johnny Depp.
• The texts, from May 22, 2016, came a day after an alleged incident in which Heard said Depp threw his phone at her face, an accusation which Depp denies.
• Depp's lawyer, Eleanor Laws QC, read out texts from Musk that said: "The offer would stand, even if you never wanted to see me again ... anyway, for being an idiot. The radio silence hurts a lot. It only matters because I really like you."
