Being tall might be a risk factor for catching the coronavirus

A new study says that people who are 6 feet or taller are twice as likely to be infected as others. The researchers think this is proof that the virus can spread via the air.

The non-peer-reviewed study was published in medRxiv and could benefit from more research in the future. But the researchers think that people over 6 feet tall have more than double the chance of catching COVID-19.

The explanation for the increased risk for tall people is the presence of viral load in aerosols.
