Future investment of ancestral property from India 🇮🇳

Let’s say we have 10-20 Cr property back home that was inherited from parents, is it wise to sell of those assets and bring those money to US and invest in Index funds ?? 

20 Cr = 2.5 million. 7% rate of return for 1 year = 175k USD . Any thoughts ??

India lo worth vunna ancestral property ni safeguard chesukovadam easy ga vunte, ,holding on to it is the best option..

USA lo wife and husband iddaru work chesthe, manchi quality of life..perhaps singel salary tho ne good quality of life vuntundi...even if you get 7% returns on 2.5 million, your life standard wil probably change by few points but not hugely..

but india lo ancestral property ammithe, malli konadam chala kastam...especially to replace it with same value where as holding on to ancestral proterty will make your fee comfortable and proud in your circle apart from giving you constant increased value of property...

It all depends on the time , right now Property values are down and US indexes +USD all time high lo unnayi.  

 

I don't think you can expect 7% returns anymore , maybe like 2,3%
