Young actor Abhijeet’s overconfidence has been raising eyebrows of the Bigg Boss followers.

Abhijeet did act in a couple of movies as the main lead, but he isn’t as popular as Srimukhi or Tejaswi let alone Varun Sandesh and Tanish. In fact, many of the people who watch Bigg Boss might not have seen him prior to this show.

However, Abhijeet has been behaving like a superstar in the house from day 1. He always throws challenges at other housemates to nominate him.

He voluntarily nominated himself in the second week and also asked his ‘squad’ to take care of it. When housemates questioned his strategy in one of the tasks, he simply said "nominate me," to cut the topic.

He never fears the nominations and shows immense confidence of staying in the house no matter what.

Strangely, Abhijeet always gets the maximum chunk of votes in all unofficial polls and there’s an ‘army’ of accounts on social media platforms that projects him as a hero all the time. It is interesting to note that most of these accounts were created recently.

“Dammunte nannu eedikelli peeku,” he said to one of the contestants in the latest nominations task, which shows that he is confident that he will be getting the votes although he doesn’t know how he is being projected to the audience.

Apart from an intelligent idea of kidnapping Divi in one of the tasks, there isn’t one instance where Abhijeet made an impression on the viewers. He doesn’t mingle with everyone in the house and shows a lot of arrogance.

He points fingers at other contestants and also questions their ‘character’ if he doesn’t like their ideas. He keeps talking in English even after getting repeated warnings from Bigg Boss.

Despite many flaws and not so likeable personality and gaming style, Abhijeet keeps getting more than forty percent of the votes while the remaining contestants always have neck and neck fights every week.  

Bigg Boss voting system never appeared fully transparent as few contestants hire PR agencies to help them stay longer in the house. These agencies ensure to get them necessary votes every time they are in the nominations.

Apparently, Abhijeet must have hired a strong ‘squad’ that cannot lose that easily. Or maybe he should be some superstar with a strong fanbase that we aren’t aware of. 

Star Maa should make sure such manipulation of votes doesn't happen in future seasons as contestants will start hiring PR machinery before they step into the house and make a mockery of the 'reality' show itself.
