Pharma field lo baane unnayi companies and jobs are available in sciences. Why leave all that and get into IT? You will be getting endless queries related to education background etc on h1. Rather than going through all that it is better to get into his core field. GC is a good bonus if he has a worthy enough phd. Quote

EB1-C is already abused by IT managers so will not talk about it.
