If T appears at the beginning of a word, it is usually pronounced somewhere in between Toh and Cho (with more emphasis on T). Told => tchold Train => Tchrain Try => Tchry Also, never say, “You only told me” - that is Telugu, not English lol 😀 Likewise, “I told” - which is incorrect. Tell, told are transitive verbs that are followed by one or more objects, like “I told her...”. Spend more time with Americans and listen to English radio and podcasts/audiobooks - the only ways to improve! Quote
