They need regula funding because of a govt mandate that requires them to fund their employee pension even before they retired... how many times do you want me to say it? 99% of their loss is because of that one law, that private players are not obligated to comply.

He appointed someone to head USPS to increase the fees. But, they have been sued by a few people.

The Government is just a facilitator, it shouldn't be involved in day to day businesses like this. The way prices will fall down is by competition. Less Governance is good Governance.
