Moscow Mitch is so proud of you.

but the blame lies on democrats too.. scum like nancy pelosi and schumer who give Trump everything he wants. Not that bernie sanders wing is any better with dumbfcuk 1950s ideas on economy.

ultimately Trump is gonna win this game, because whatever's said in the news, USPS issue is a masterstroke from someone in his team.

The Government is just a facilitator, it shouldn't be involved in day to day businesses like this. The way prices will fall down is by competition. Less Governance is good Governance.

hmm...

just an example...

do you know the current internet situation in USA....its mostly less Governed system...(in my opinion...)

all these internet providers become monopoly...and they distributed the areas among them like mafia...

if you have issues with internet ...you dont have choice...because non other vendor available in your area...(part of the mafia agreement)..

but dont expect all places are same..how it work in your place...

sometimes few words "empathy", "being in other person shoes"...might help...

or one can try 'facts', and making logical arguments without waving hands about 'competition' and 'efficiency', when private players are proven to be the least efficient.

Right, the Government tries to pass laws to prevent monopolization by companies. For instance, they prevented Uber buying out Lyft so they don't monopolize ride sharing. There is no rule preventing other companies from being in business if they are able provide it for cheaper.

funny how he didnt take any action in all these 4 years..tweets are not policies

Louis DeJoy was appointed this year for sole purpose of making some hard changes in USPS. idea is to not lose money when delivering packages especially with partners like Amazon.

if you feel monopoly is rampant here in US , i have to pity you. Antitrust Laws are created for the sole purpose of avoiding such things.

if anything , blame the lobbying for ensuring the politicians dont do their work.

they just try..nothing happens after that..

just like ..

google maps bought wage app..there was case in FTC...but finally it is already monopolized....

big corporates have big funds to hir big lawyers and big lobbying..but out come is ...corporate favorite..

coming to the original topic..

this could be the same if USPS got privatized...places like where it is less revenue will be avoided...

so again we end up in discussion about సంక్షేమం vs అభివృద్ధి ?

mana jebulu nidithene అభివృద్ధి anukundam antaava?

what do you 'feel'? lol. dude, in the first sentence you say antitrust laws protect from monopoly, and then you blame lobbyists...

are lobbyists from outerspace? do they operate outside of us law?

should we list  companies that monopolized markets without a whimper of a protest from the govt?

US is literally full of monopolies.

Its not a bad thing. but to pretend that US govt will swoop in and prevent a business from monopolizing markets is just laughable.

what i mean to say is that there are laws preventing monopoly from happening. and companies like google and amazon are freqnetly beiing questioned about their business process.

there are many near-monopolies in US and that is because of the high cost for new entrants to come and compete.

yes. do list compete monopolies.

there's no need to list because you've already agreed that US is full of monopolies.

anti trust laws are useless to combat monopolies. monopolies being created by buying off competitors is from the 19thcentury.

now monopolies are created by buying off affiliate businesses. that's why Amazon is running its own delivery service, and provides this service to non amazong products too.
