Why do people in management get paid more?

who said mgrs dont work? Most of the mgrs were software engs before.  
scoping the project, coordinating the team. Fighting with higher mgr for additional resources, fighting with higher mgr for promoting reportees.

on top of it, working with reportees who think mgr is doing nothing.

 

software eng career growth depends on their individual performance where as mgr’s depend on complete team.

edo oka company lo higher management gets paid more ante anukovachu but it is true across all companies in all business sectors so anni companies pichollu anukolemu kada

sare even if what you say is true and all higher management emi cheyaru but still get paid more anukundam so you envy this position right? Why don't you work for it and get into that role, appudu happy ga vuntadi kada...just walk around the office for meetings, just delegate all the work, you will feel very important in big company events such as town hall meetings etc etc what's not to like about this job?

It’s the amount of risk they take in executing there ideas people in management are not payed for there tech skills they are payed for there ability to deliver products using there tech skills. Ability to see bigger picture and help the team navigate there
