Yes any help you can contact Air India on twitter they will guide you for the procedure..

Also from main page on Airindia site book flight option is then select traveling to India, you need to register here  https://repat.videshapps.gov.in/regis

 

Select new registration and there is option for Medical emergency...

United is best than air India . Go happily have him tested just 2 days before otherwise 3 days quarantine in Delhi unless you show the doctor certificates regarding the issue
