home loan vendors dont care about H1-B. but go for FHA if you cannot put Downpayment. lekapothe every month 300-400 will towards Mortgage insurance premium only.

Usually people prefer conventional loans... it’s easy to refinance I guess but check with your lender and shop around 

check with your local banks, credit unions or some private lenders like Loan depot..
