Half knowledge and educated people (half knowledged) in towns are the worst. Atleast in villages caste is talked in a little less demeaning way than in towns. My grandfather once asked my friend his caste, i was shocked, but his intent was different. Once my friend told what his caste was, my grandfather said he has friends in that caste and asked if my friend is related to them (Since it is a village and everyone knows everyone). andhra side caste godavalu untay ga ...especially still sc ante chinna chupu...infact usa vachake e caste pichollani chusanu and noticed these all idiots are from villages moved to cities for jobs, education and now to usa...still gajji poledu . okadaite sc ammaylu not for marriage only vadukuni vadileydaniki annadu , i was quite suprised shocked vadi thinkng ohhh dandam. US govt started giving land grants to encourage farming, and almost all of it went to whites. Now this system doesn't exist, but racism still exists in policing. and in judiciary. and in most city councils that refuse to invest in better infra for black neighbourhoods. etc. you are someone who moved to US for higher studies or came for a high paying computer job. chances of you breaking your bubble to experience america is very slim.
