Basic ga Meters pedithe... future lo bills farmers ni pay cheyyamantaru ani farmers were against this since CBNs term in 1994-2004.

 

Now, they have to place meters , which byitself can get opposition

 

then, farmers have to pay first. Usually they will have no money at hand so they have to borrow and then incur interests. So, cause for opposition from farmers.

 

and then, Govt has to re-imburse. If it is college fee, its taken by 200 or so college managements (if there is delay). If farmers reimbursment is delayed, it will cause opposition.

 

I think Jagan has no other way as he want to borrow an additional 20K crores this year and centre put this as a condition to borrow the additional amount
