They have lax prostitution laws too. Lesser crime if it is legally allowed and fewer people will be in jails. Costs the government less money to maintain jails and facilities. They instead use the money for funding other government handouts. Makes sense if you think about it.

What if more and more people are addicted and do more crime under influence.it could create a civil war situation.

Yeah more revenue for govt and private at the cost of public health

They control it through education and ‘drug’ passes. Not everyone is allowed to buy.

I don't think anyone can "Control" it once you are allowed. In USA the smoking age is 18yrs and drinking age is 21 I guess... but I have seen many teenagers using them.

There are huge fines if you sell it to teenagers though. What will selling to younger people get you? They don’t have a lot of money anyway. If it is legal then the product becomes cheaper. The margins for the underground market aren’t there anymore.
