Options sell - Question

Robinhood lo oka option konna ninna expiry 9/11. I did not realize so ninne sell order place chesina and today is expiry.

but ippudu Robinhood vaadu place chesina sell order cancel disable chesinadu and he is saying he will sell my contract an hour before the close today if I don't have enough shares.

 

Deeni meaning endi....first time option trading...what happens to my option contract?

You can sell the option today anytime before 4 pm est.

Just select “sell close” at the market price and place the order.

You will get the current value of the contract

It seems you opened naked call option. So, Robin Hood vaadu ninna shares koni or allocate chesi made your contract as covered call. So, vaadu buy chesi close chesi ninnu minguthadu.

My answer will not help you for the today’s play but just for your reference, you cannot play options after hours.

Your sell order would have entered the market today morning.

why do you want to cancel the sell order?

if you don’t sell your options before your expiry, you will either loose all the money or the option would be exercised.

Babu aa ooru manadi....after hours calls place chesthe they will be in que and will be executed the following day.

After hours market undadu ani chinna pilladini adigina chepthadu..
