Apartments giving rent discounts

I am tired of paying $3000 for 2b/2b for my  old model apartments (no a/c) in bay area. I am planning to move out for next renewal. With WFH and new work culture, I am hoping for the housing market to go down.

3 years in current apartment, previous apartment was $2500 in same area for 3 yrs. Bachelor life was $400-500 per month in Florida 😃
