Stock XFerts: zero knowledge here. please suggest

Recommended Posts

Hello Friends,

Zero knowledge here on Stocks, hence, no trading.

Following is what I am thinking to do, please suggest if this is a good idea or if any other better ideas?

I am planning to invest +/-$200 per month into Stocks. Basically, there are these Trading companies that manage our portfolio and does trading on our behalf. I am thinking of doing this as long as possible.

Do you think this is a good idea? if so, what Trading companies are good for this? do they charge any fees? ....

OR you can suggest any alternatives

TIA.

@vatsayana  that would be right way to build portfolio unless u are looking for quick money..

monthly 200$ invest and forget for 10 years anukunte...at the end it will be lumpsum amount.

open a portfolio managment account or robo investor accounts ...like in charlesschwab, etc...

set ur goals accordingly in it, and it will do work for u...

dont look into account every now and then...even if market falls or rises....

https://intelligent.schwab.com/

good luck.

u can also make it as ROTH (if contributing in limit... 500$ per month cheskunte limit lo untav).

this can be tax free when u take it out as well..kaaniavasaram unnapudu teyalev..adokkate catch.

there will be or can be m,any up-down cycles in 10years...so if u are confident that u wont do panic sell...go for this rooute.

Transfer money, they will invest into low cost mutual funds.

Its the safest option. Just don't panic if it goes down.
