• Oracle is trying to buy TikTok from its Chinese owner; Walmart also interested 
• Trump has expressed concerns about national security issues with the app, which would still be majority Chinese owned 
• The Trump administration has ramped up efforts to purge 'untrusted' Chinese apps from U.S. digital networks 
• TikTok has 100 million users in the United States and WeChat has 19 million
