keenguy Posted September 28, 2020 Report Posted September 28, 2020 Hi Guys, just curious on how USCIS processes I-485 applications. Since everyone with EB3 PD until Jan 2015 is going to file I485 next month, will USCIS sort all these applications by PD and process them in chronological order? Or is PD only used for filing and once USCIS receives the applications they start processing on first come first serve basis? Trying to understand if a person with 2013 PD has any chance of getting GC earlier than a person with 2011 PD (assuming the visas are available). Quote

GC lu first come first serve kadu, ni priority date current vuntey ne istaru. as per filing date ead vastundi kani niku priority date current ayevaraku GC radu. also all GC AOS applications national benefit center process chestundi and they will grant gc only once your priority date becomes current. 1 Quote

keenguy Posted September 28, 2020 Author Report Posted September 28, 2020 EB3: Final Action Date: 15 Jan 2010 Filing Date: 01 Jan 2015 In my understanding, people with PD until Jan 2015 can file for 485. GC will be given to those with PD 15 Jan 2010 (depending on availability) and EAD to anyone with PD beyond Final Action date. correct me if I am wrong. TIA. 1 Quote

All 485 AOS cases will go directly to National benefit center(Lee summit or Kansas city), if you are amending your I-140 then it will goto regional centers. 1 Quote
