for non-us citizens or GC holders .. Air India and United Airlines are the only options ani vinna

Bhayya, my parents are planning to visit in October. Are any documents needed like letter...from embassy or etc...It looks like we have to book only Air India and United (only united was asking about embassy letter). Also it looks like return tickets are not opened. SO can we travel on 1 way ticket on visitor visa?
