Law can only punish such crimes but will barely be able to prevent. 
 

Time and again? When ever such a crime happens, people demand for stricter laws but trust me, all that tough laws can do is to speeded up the justice process but will not prevent.

Education is the only tool which will prevent such crimes. If awareness was imparted in our education system 20 years back, we would have seen lesser crimes today. 
 

At least we should start now..

It takes a while..Have some patience.

Imparting quality education and to see its positive effects, it takes a generation. Unfortunately we wasted last two generations by imparting academics to people but not awareness. Modern Education has just started taking effect...Can expect to see such crimes come down

Of course. Atleast such heinous crimes are being reported. A decade back, no one have even cared if such crimes have happened but at least now a part of them are being reported. Still long way to go...

Fast Track courts appears to have some kind of solution, faster and speedy trail...may be trail on the spot, the moment FIR is registered..Preliminary investigation complete avagane trail lantivi chesina bagundu...
