EB2 downgrade?

Feb 2012 priority date in EB2 category. Is it better to downgrade to EB3 or be in EB2 to get GC faster for this situation?.

maa coompany lo existing perm kuda question avochu and unna eb2  povochu anaru if anythung comes up in eb3 upgrade anaru just to protect themselves from remote possibilities , i am taking a gamble and going for downgrade emina kaani

I am not familiar with immigration and of course am aware of the usual disclaimer.. consult attorney.

 

Let's say we get AP/EAD with downgrade to EB3. What does this actually give us?. 

With EAD :

1. if we use it, we will lose our H1b status, and what are the pre-requisites to renew?. do we need to have a job and company to sponsor renewal?. 
2. What happens if we are out of job?. Are we still subject to 60days grace period?. 

 

What are the downsides of having EAD with EB3 category.

My guess is EB2 will get to GC faster... eventually. And also we EB2 dates likely move in upcoming bulletins in coming 1 or 2 months.

I am also Feb 2012 EB2. We are in the middle of the river. nee date 2012 dec anukoaa haapy gaa downgrade chesukoavachchu..mana situation emitante...downgrade chesukoalemu..alaagani...vadulukoalemu

nenu FTE..maa vodu cheyyadu  mostly..I have son who is going to age out and I dont want to mess up his channces. So nenu wait chesthaanu..I 485 is always safe compared to H1.-B...if yuo dont have any other contsraint and GC lekha poyiana paruvaaledhu...EAD meedha vundagalugunu ante...go ahead and downgrade. naa friend Sep 2011 downgrade chesukuntunnadu and he is planning to continue on EAD.
