The main difference between Jagan cases and DK cases is that Jagan was never in any sort of public office at the time of crime , to implicate Jagan they must first implicate entire cabinet of YSR , most of the IAS officers and all the industrialists who invested .  All of these guys were given clean chits and only accused left are those who never had power .   

In DK's case it is more straightforward , he was charged while in office . They can just jail him in various small cases  unless ofcourse he joins the BJP washing machine
