NewsFlash! Trump Administration Issuing Rules Today that will Significantly Impact H1B Program

It has been reported that on October 6, 2020, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that it will issue two rules by the end of the day that will make significant changes to the H1B specialty occupation program. More specifically, it is expected that the DHS will raise the minimum salary levels for the foreign workers and will further narrow the definition of “specialty occupation.” Both rules are said to be posted as final rules to take effect on Thursday, October 8, 2020, and will go into effect in 60 days. The new rules are expected to affect eligibility of about one-third of H1B workers and are likely to be challenged in courts.

The Murthy Law Firm will closely monitor this important development and post new information as it becomes available.

If you are working in technology called "krystal admin"

 

You have to prove why krsystal skin role needs h1b when this position is in market for twelve years...why can't you find american for this role..

For architecture that's ok.

Basically blow to genuine  opt students who look for admin jobs..

And tc, cts employees who come here for first time as admins etc...regular architect roles , engineering role level 3 wage ..nothing to worry

It's just an election stunt bro. They can't justify the rule and they didn't follow proper rule making procedure. Courts will issue a stay order before it even goes into effect in 60 days
