Officials extended Florida's voter registration deadline to 7 pm EST on October 6, Secretary of State Laurel M. Lee confirmed. The online voting registration portal crashed on Monday evening and was not working for many Floridians. After meeting with Governor Ron DeSantis to determine the issues behind the online crash, Lee said, "we have not identified any evidence of interference or malicious activity impacting the site."
